Through Rising Writers, I tutor four to five Holt High School students each week on writing essays and preparing for the ACT.
Volunteer
Logged the inventory for roughly 30 books for The House Tuscaloosa through the Explore Book Club.
Event Volunteer
Watched over a group of four toddlers alongside a fellow volunteer during the Valentine’s Day dinner. Helped prepare the family Easter event by putting up decorations, and cleaned the kitchen area afterward.
Volunteer Painter
Painted the indoor walls of three bedrooms with fellow volunteers for an expecting mother through Baby Steps.
